I WONDERED LONLY AS A CLOUD- (DEFFODILS).

In this blog,I want to share brief information about I WONDERED LONLY AS A CLOUD  commonly known as DEFFODILS by William Wordsworth.

 
  
     BIOGRAPHY OF WILLIAM WORDSWORTH:-
        
    Wordsworth was born at cockermouth, a town which is actually outside the lake district, but well within hail of it.

   His father, who was a lawyer,died when William Wordsworth was thirteen years old.

    William Wordsworth (1770–1850) was a prominent English poet of the Romantic era.

  He is best known for his association with fellow poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and their joint work "Lyrical Ballads," which marked the beginning of the Romantic movement in English literature.

         7 April 1770
        Cockermouth, England.

       DEATH:-

       23 April 1850 (aged 80)
       Rydal, England.

     OCCUPATION:-
       
       a poet, 
       literary critic,
       the central figures of English Romantic              poetry.

      THE POETRY OF WORDSWORTH:-


     Wordsworth has in favour of simple poetic diction but he himself has not followed his own rule, his poetries are easy to read but not to understand, reader could get the pleasure but not the hidden meaning. As in his poem “Lucy”.


   The Brief information about his famous poem  I WONDERED LONLY AS A CLOUD COMMONLY KNOWN AS DEFFODILS .

     "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" by William Wordsworth.

    The poem, also known as "Daffodils," describes the poet's experience of wandering through nature and coming across a field of golden daffodils. 

    The sight of the flowers lifts his spirits and brings him joy, even when he's feeling lonely.
